  • Five ID enables you to use your palm for identification at participating locations equipped with our technology (the "Service").   • Five ID is a limited company registered in England under company number 15793519. Our registered office is located at 6 Stannary Street, London, England, SE11 4AA.


3. About Your Account

  • Creating an Account: To use our Service, you'll need to create an account by scanning your palm (your "palm signature") and agreeing to these Terms.

  • Using Your Account: Once registered, you can use your palm to authenticate your identity at any Five ID-enabled location. Five ID integrates with various services ("Ancillary Services"), such as payment processing or access management. Each Ancillary Service that uses Five ID for authentication may have its own separate Terms and Conditions.


4. Palm Signature

  • Collection and Use: We collect your palm signature to authenticate you and prevent fraud. For more information on how we handle your data please refer to our Privacy Policy.

  • Storage and Security: Your palm signature is securely stored in our systems within the Five ID group and will not be sold to any third parties.


5. Messages and communication

By accepting these terms, you consent to us sending you automated SMS messages related to the Service and agree that all communications that we provide to you electronically or via SMS satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.


6. Authorizing Payments With Five ID

  • Account Linking: To use your Five ID for authorizing payments, you must be registered with Five ID payments Ancillary Services.

  • Transactions: Five ID is not a financial institution and does not facilitate payments directly. While you can use Five ID to authenticate payment transactions at Service-Enabled Merchants, Five ID is not involved in the actual transaction. We are not responsible for any issues arising from purchases made through third-party merchants.


7. Changes to the Service

These Terms are accessible on our website. If any amendments are made, we will provide you with appropriate notice unless the changes are urgent or required by law. If you do not agree with the changes, you can close your account by contacting us at support@five.id.


We reserve the right to suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.


8. Account Closure

  • Requesting Closure: You may request to close your account at any Five ID terminal or by contacting support@five.id.

  • Data Deletion: If you choose to delete your Five ID account, we will stop processing your data and you will need to open a new account to use our Service in the future.


9. Usage Restrictions

  • Geographic Restrictions: The Service is designed for use exclusively within the United Kingdom.

  • Age Limitations: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.


10. Legal Compliance, Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under these Terms will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.

  • Service "As Is": Five ID is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind.
